About SpiesInDC

SpiesInDC is a service that delivers Cold War history to your doorstep. A six-part series mailed to you every two or three weeks, each installment contains a historical reproduction of a critical document or speech, accompanied by an essay summarizing its historical context. Also included are related documents, photos, stamps, and other artifacts intended to give you a better sense of both the event and the people involved.

Our mission is to bring the fascinating world of Cold War history directly to your mailbox, providing you with tangible connections to pivotal moments that shaped our world. Each carefully curated package is designed to immerse you in the atmosphere and tension of the era.
